BENEFITS AND BENEFICIARIES STATEMENT
The beneficiaries of all our activities are children of within our geographical boundary. We spend more than 90% of the donations that we receive on what we asked the donations for, if its feeding then, we buy food with 90% of the donation, the remaining 10% is used on over costs which are related to the welfare of the children which include paying bills like water and electricity and sometimes rent.
We are so fortunate to be working with a team of dedicated staff, who almost all of them have steady income and come to the foundation to just help, thus we have almost a zero wage bill(meaning we don’t have people we pay salaries) thus we have very little administrative costs.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION
for any donation we receive we do accountability and issue activity report which are submitted to the donor to enable the monitoring of the progressive implementation of the project as well as the evaluation of performance of the project and give remedial advice if necessary.
The project evaluation is done to cross check the project’s performance and achievements, particularly in relation to project beneficiaries and assess the project impact on the development and social well-being of the children or in some cases the single mothers of our children in our outreach program. In addition to traditional methods of evaluation, methodologies to carry out a Participatory Evaluation (PE) will be applied. The PE was will be conducted in the whole area in the project area to ascertain the beneficiaries’ opinions and perceptions on project interventions, participation, and sustainability.
